Hear about a simpler way to run data analysis pipelines on multiple computing platforms. Janis is a Python assistant that helps to simplify the tedious process of building and running workflows. Using a simplified Python API, you can build pipelines that can be converted to CWL and WDL, two common workflow specifications. Developed in collaboration with Melbourne Bioinformatics, Peter Mac and WEHI, Janis is now being used to analyse a mixture of whole genome and exome sequencing data across these institutions.
In this webinar, Michael will introduce Janis, and demonstrate how you how to build workflows using Janis' growing toolbox of bioinformatics tools, and pipelines that are ready to use.
