ABACBS National Seminar Series: Launching and managing Nextflow workflows with the Australian Nextflow Seqera Service

Are you using Nextflow pipelines yet, or interested in learning more? Hear how a variety of researchers are managing, launching and monitoring their Nextflow workflows. You’ll learn how Seqera Platform is useful in different research applications and how to access the new subsidised Australian Nextflow Seqera Service.

Bioinformaticians and service providers will share their experiences using the Australian Nextflow Seqera Service to:

  • Manage, execute and monitor Nextflow workflows on on-premises and national HPC, and on commercial cloud services

  • Automate and streamline processing of data

  • Make pipelines more accessible to non-command line users through the web interface

  • Onboard project and lab groups to collaborative workspaces to run Nextflow workflows

  • Optimise resource consumption through live logs and usage statistics

Dr Ziad Al Bkhetan will also explain key features of the Australian Nextflow Seqera Service, how you can gain access, and how to get started adding to the 300k+ jobs and 4k+ workflows that have already been run!

Speakers:

  • Dr Ziad Al Bkhetan: Product Manager, Bioinformatics Platforms, Australian BioCommons

  • Dr Magda Antczak: Bioinformatician, Queensland Cyber Infrastructure Foundation

  • Dr Marek Cmero: Bioinformatician, WEHI

Date/Time:

9 December 2024, 1 - 2 pm AEDT / 12 - 1 pm AEST / 12:30 - 1:30 pm ACDT/ 10 - 11 am AWST (check in your timezone)
