Saumya is a Data Platform Engineer focusing on building OMIX3 and delivering scalable data platform solutions for secure human omics data sharing. She specialises in designing production-grade pipelines, automated ingestion, embedding observability and enabling reliable integrations across complex systems.

Saumya brings a strong background in data engineering and analytics from the banking, financial services and consulting sectors. In these roles, she built robust data pipelines, quality frameworks and reporting layers that help teams to trust their data. She is motivated by creating simple, durable data systems that make complex problems easier to navigate.

Outside of work, Saumya enjoys gardening and exploring local cafes.
